2. Refund Eligibility Criteria
Eligible for refund
- Service unavailability: our services are unavailable for more than 48 consecutive hours due to technical issues on our end
- Project cancellation by Devkart: we cancel your project due to resource constraints or other business reasons
- Billing errors: incorrect charges, duplicate payments, or billing discrepancies that cannot be resolved through account adjustments
- Failure to meet agreed specifications: delivered work significantly deviates from agreed specifications and cannot be corrected within reasonable timeframes
Not eligible for refund
- Client-initiated cancellation after work has commenced (a partial refund may apply based on work completed)
- Change in requirements: significant scope changes after project commencement
- Completed and delivered work accepted according to project milestones
- Third-party service costs: licenses, hosting, or tools purchased specifically for your project
3. Refund Request Process

- Provide required information: project contract number or invoice details, a detailed explanation, supporting documentation if applicable, and your preferred refund method.
- Review and processing: initial review within 2 business days; detailed investigation (if required) within 5–10 business days; decision notification via email; refund processing (if approved) within 5–15 business days.
4. Non-Refundable Services and Costs

- Completed development work and deliverables
- Custom code and intellectual property created

Third-party costs
- Software licenses and subscriptions
- Cloud hosting and infrastructure costs

5. Partial Refunds and Project Cancellation
When a project is cancelled after work has commenced, partial refunds are calculated based on:
- Percentage of project milestones completed
- Hours invested in development work
- Deliverables created and tested
- Non-recoverable and third-party costs already incurred
Cancellation timeline
- Within 7 days of project start: 80–90% refund (minus setup costs)
- Within 30 days: 50–70% refund (based on work completed)
- After 30 days: refund based on remaining milestones
- After 50% completion: no refund (final payment adjustments only)
6. Refund Processing and Timeline
- Credit card: 5–10 business days
- Bank transfer: 3–7 business days
Refunds are processed to the original payment method in the original transaction currency. Processing times may vary based on financial institution policies; international transfers may take additional time, and any bank fees for international transfers are the client's responsibility. A refund confirmation will be sent via email.
7. Dispute Resolution
If you disagree with our refund decision:
